“ Dearie me what a treat to discover this place. I have never seen cakes so big! The atmosphere was extremely homely and friendly. A very helpful young lady serving. The coffee was great. But the cakes, oh the cakes... ”
“ What a huge difference since it's been taken over. Food is amazing and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We arrived and were attended to straight away. It was a glorious day so we sat in the outdoor seating area which is now much bigger. The coffee here is the best I've ever had. I'm looking forward to trying one of the new takeaway pizzas and enjoying an ice cream from the new machine. ”

“ During a late Summer outing on historic Routemaster 2121, owned by Brian Turner of Bridge if Weir and driven by Routemaster enthusiast and Inverclyde resident Jim McNeal, we called into the Bosun's Table for a light lunch. The staff were very pleasant and efficient at taking the order and delivering hot food quickly. We sat in the sunny courtyard and enjoyed the company of friends who had come from Reading on a round Scotland road trip. We travelled through North Ayrshire returning by the country roads of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde back to Greenock. ”
